Tulip Tilda

This is a little Tilda card I finished yesterday. She's called Tilda with Flowers & I got her from my friend Ruth Ann who had bought an extra one so she shared with me. Does anyone else ever end up with 2 of the same stamp ??? I've done it more times than I want to admit but luckily I have good friends who will take it off my hands or it goes to a good home at one of my daughters.

I used a Spellbinders Tulip pendant die & thought it went nicely with my
background paper that's from a DCWV Spring matstack ...

She was colored with Copic markers which I LOVE sooooooo much ...
I'm still learning to use them but I wouldn't trade them for anything ...

I tried to get a good picture of me holding my card by the gorgeous  roses
from Wild Orchid just to show you how WONDERFULLY strong that glue is ... Once you stick something down it's STUCK !!! I bought the glue from Create For Less & they have the fastest shipping ever & that's great cuz when I want something I want it YESTERDAY !!!
Have a great day & thanks for stopping by to say hi ...

Scor-Buddy

I downloaded a new photo program & don't know what I've done but I'm still having problems posting ...
Soooooooooo I'll just show you my ADORABLE little Scor-Buddy I got in the mail today from Diana at Scor-Pal ... I have the larger Scor-Pal & it's great for most things but takes up a lot of room on my craft table. This little guy is the perfect size to sit right on your table & takes up about half the room. It's only about 7 x 9 in. & so perfect to take to card classes where you don't have room for it's bigger brother ...
The little card is a standard A2 size (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) & just wanted to show you how small my little "Buddy" really is.
Diana was sure thinking of us card makers when she came up with this little cutie ..

My daughters know how much I dislike having my picture taken but I was having so much fun with this I decided to have a quick picture taken so I could say "Good morning " to my beautiful daughters who have always supported me in this addiction & helped me start my blog. I love you today (and every day"!!!
And a special hello to you wonderful ladies out there who answer my many questions & are always willing to give up a little (ok a lot) of their busy time for me ... And one more special good morning to my sweet granddaughter, Laci who has become a follower & leaves me a little love on my blog every time I post.
Thank every one of you who stops by to look around or leave a comment. You make me smile & make it all worthwhile ...

Hugs from my heart, Mom & Janie

Tilda Loves Me ... Loves Me Not

Not sure what happened but somehow when I was TRYING to figure out how to make my pictures larger I messed things up a little ... So "for now" you can just click on them to make them larger if you like ...
I may go back & change this post later but "for now" I just want to get it posted before I lose it ...
I made this little Tilda easel card today & tried my Copic Airbrush for the 1st time ... It is soooooooo fun to play with ... I have to give a big thanks to Kim for telling me where to get one so cheap. I airbrushed the grass on this little card and as you can see there's a little bit of green sky ( laughing now ) although at the time I wasn't !!! I thought I had it masked well but when I turned it once I forgot to move my mask & therefore the sky turned a little green ... I thought about redoing the card but decided it was a learning thing so just left it as a lesson to self ... Next time I'll know better ...
I'll add the "recipe" later ...
Hugs,

Ballerina Tilda

My good friend Ruth Ann was so sweet to stamp a few images of this adorable little Ballerina Tilda for me so I thought I'd color her with Copics & make a card today ...

Here's a close up of Tilda showing the tiny pearls on her dress & slippers.

Card Recipe:
I used Ballerina Tilda from Diana over at Magnolia-licious
Martha Stewart Punch around the page
Flowers are as usual from Wild Orchid Crafts
I also used Crafter's Pick Incredibly Tacky glue that my friend Bev swears by & it sticks those wonderful flowers & ribbon on sooooo well ... Thanks Bev !!!
Copic colors shown below

Thanks for taking a peek at another card I've created that will sit on my shelf waiting to go to someone special ...

Thomas the cat

How many of you out there can relate to this ?
I spend all day looking at all the beautiful cards others make on their blogs & then wonder why I have "No Time" to make any myself ...
But seriously, I do enjoy all the wonderful ideas I get from all you ladies out there online & in my circle of friends & family ... I couldn't do this with out you ... You & your comments make me want to be more creative & I do appreciate them so much...

I finally finished a card after being gone from my blog FOREVER !!! Hopefully I'm back on track & can get back to posting again.
Turning a few bits of paper, stamps & ink into a card that I can share with others is what I enjoy & one of the things I look forward to each morning.... Hope they help make your day a little brighter ...
This is a close up of the roses I spritzed with Glimmer Mist ... you can click on the picture to make it larger ... That stuff is wonderful for adding a little Bling ...

Stamps : Thomas, Letter From Home from Lili of the Valley
Sentiment : is from Paper Tray Ink (love their clear stamps)
Paper: Stampin Up cardstock & the checkered DP is from
Creative Crafts
All the wonderful roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts ...
The larger ones are 20 & 25 mm & the rosebuds are 4 & 6 mm
They were all spritzed with Glimmer Mist
Leaves are a Martha Stewart branch bunch that I use a lot
I popped the little cat up on foam tape after he was colored with my Copic markers & cut out with my newest Nestabilities ...
Thanks for stopping by & leave a comment if you like ... It makes my day !!!
Hugs,
